It’s not an exaggeration to say that the weather in Kep is delightful all year round. While the rest of Cambodia swelters in the April heat, sea breezes keep Kep in the comfortable early 30s. Thedry season sees a seemingly unending succession of sunny days and balmy nights.

Temperatures are a little cooler in the rainy season, when the regular afternoon showers refresh the land and make the jungle sparkle. You’ll still never need a sweater though! And if you’re ever feeling a little too much tropical heat, you can cool off in our swimming pool,or retreat into the famous Kep National Park.

What to Pack

However, it’s important to remember that Cambodia is still a developing country – it’s wise to prepare sensibly for travel here. Bring both flip-flops or sandals and sturdy shoes, and remember that if you intend to visit temples or pagodas to cover up from shoulders to knees. An umbrella or light raincoat is advisable in the rainy season. A flashlight is always a good idea, as are supplies of any medications and hygiene items that you might need. And of course, don’t forget your swimming costumes!
